We believe that entrepreneurial thinking needs to be fostered, that is why we created the Greenhouse. A place for those who want to become entrepreneurs and are ready to start with a concrete idea. Whether your idea is not completely developed yet or you need some more time to perfect your already existing business plan, the Greenhouse programme is a place to be.

 

We provide an informal and flexible environment to assess the market potential of your business idea, develop a business model and find out whether entrepreneurship is the future career for you.

 

Whatever you need, we have the right support for you. If you choose to continue with setting up a real start-up, we have our Entrepreneurship Accelerator programme to instigate and become succesful in your future career as entrepreneur.

Open to everyone

Whether as individual or in groups, national or international, young student, advanced professional or experienced researcher: the Greenhouse is open to everyone..

Funding

Climate-KIC funds a selected greenhouse project with up to €5.000, and supports climate innovation ideas into sustainable business models and marketable products or services. If you choose to continue with setting up a real start-up, we even have special programmes to instigate and become successful in your future career as entrepreneur

Program

Monthly we organize meetings/workshops in our Utrecht office.

Coaching

Apart from funding, Greenhouse groups have the possibility of benefitting from 10 hours coaching. For example, participant can ask for professional advice on IP, marketing, finance, prototyping, customer validation or whatever you need to develop the best business plan you can. 

Apply

Successful applicants will formerly join the Greenhouse for 12 months from January 1st 2017.

The next application deadline to join this intake will be in November 2017. This call will open in October 2017.
